About the event
The Schiller Institute NYC Chorus will dedicate it's Spring Classical Concert to the 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope.
The program will feature Carl Maria von Weber's intriguing Missa Sancta No. 1 and the U.S. premiere of the recently published Stabat Mater by a student of Weber, Amalie von Sachsen.
The program will also include a selection of African American Spirituals, and a second U.S. premiere, the Double-choir Concerto No. 9 of Ukrainian-Russian Composer Dmitry Bortniansky.
A reception will follow the performance.
