As the French Revolution loomed, music was undergoing its own transformation, propelled by the bold innovations of Mozart and Haydn. On Saturday, August 23 at 7 pm, the acclaimed period orchestra Twelfth Night reunites with renowned fortepianist Yi-heng Yang at the Doctorow Center, continuing their dynamic collaboration with a program of powerful symphonies by two trailblazers who redefined the Classical era.
